From 21.11 to 22.11 all principal investigators and research assistants met in Lüdenscheid (NRW) to kick off the newly DFG-funded collaborative research center (or TRR in short) 391: Spatio-temporal Statistics for the Transition of Energy and Transport.

Our chair is part of two sub-projects regarding theory and application of deep learning for space&time and conditional treatment effects to identify energy-saving opportunities. For more details visit the official TRR 391 webpage.

This joint initiative of many different research institutes aims to create novel statistical methodologies to tackle the challenges involved in energy and transportation networks.
