Examination dates

Please always note possible changes in the examination schedule.

Summer semester 2023

Examination phase

The examination phases for examinations organized and scheduled by the faculty in the summer semester 2023 have been determined. The specific exam dates will be determined in the coming weeks.

For some exams as well as study-accompanying courses, seperate modalities apply:

for study-accompanying and exams in the beginning of the semester.

Exam phase 1 (first appointment): 24.07.2023 – 11.08.2023
Exam phase 2 (retest appointment): 11.09.2023 – 29.09.2023
Exam dates: TBA

Important notes:

The dates for the examination phases apply exclusively to examinations organized by the Faculty of Computer Science. If exams for your courses are organized by other faculties (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, ETIT…), different dates are possible. It is your duty to inform yourself about this.

*Retests from the summer semester 2022 can take place in examination phase 1 as well as in examination phase 2. The reason for this is the alignment of the examination phases of the study programs.

Registration

To participate in the exams, prior registration is required.

Automatic registration

Examinations, primarily in the ITS program, are also registered automatically in some cases.Automatic enrollment will take place in May 2023 and can be accessed via FlexNow.

Individual registration

The individual registration for exams is usually also done via the own FlexNow account. Registration for exams via the Examination Office is only possible if the exam cannot be registered via FlexNow. In this case, please send an e-mail via your own RUB mail account in due time, stating your name, matriculation number, examination regulations and the examination to be registered for with its assignment (compulsory, compulsory elective, elective…) to the Examination Office.

Winter semester 2022/2023

Examination phase

Written exams (examination phase 1, first exams): 06.02.2023 – 24.02.2023
Written exams (examination phase 2, retest)*: 13.03.2023 – 31.03.2023
Oral exams (expected) 06.02.2023 -31.03.2023
Exam dates: Exam schedule WS 22/23
