Below you will find the conditions of participation for the Faculty Shirt 2025 ideas competition. By submitting your entry, you agree to the conditions of participation.

1. Eligibility to participate:
   • All members of the Faculty of Computer Science at Ruhr-Universität Bochum are eligible to participate. This includes all students, doctoral students, employees and professors of the faculty.
   • Both individuals and teams are eligible to participate. Teams share the winning prize.
2. Rights of use:
   • By submitting an entry, participants grant the Faculty of Computer Science at RUB full and unrestricted rights of use to the submitted designs.
   • The faculty reserves the right to make changes and adjustments to the submitted designs.
3. Submission:
   • Entries must meet the technical requirements and specifications set out in the call for entries.
   • Each entry must be submitted by the deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.
4. Evaluation and jury:
   • The submitted designs will be evaluated by a qualified jury appointed by the Faculty of Computer Science at RUB.
   • The jury’s decisions are final and incontestable.
5. Prizes and announcement:
   • The winners will be notified after the evaluation process has been completed.
   • Prizes will be awarded in accordance with the conditions set out in the call for entries.
6. Legal information:
   • By entering the competition, participants confirm that the designs submitted are their own original works and do not infringe any third-party rights.
   • The participants indemnify the Faculty of Computer Science of the RUB against all claims of third parties that may arise from the use of the submitted designs.
7. Data protection:
   • The personal data collected as part of the competition will be used exclusively for the purposes of the competition and will not be passed on to third parties.
   • Participants have the right to obtain information about the stored data at any time and to request its deletion.
8. Other:
   • The Faculty of Computer Science at RUB reserves the right to cancel or change the competition at any time for good cause.
   • By taking part in the competition, participants accept these conditions of participation.

These conditions of participation come into force with the publication of the competition call.
