The human factor is at the centre of my research and my courses. I investigate how user requirements need to be taken into account in software development, how people can interact and communicate optimally with automated systems and what role the human factor plays in the security of IT systems. We also carry out various field studies at our department. Interdisciplinary research at the interface between technology, psychology and economics is very important. We need lots of young people doing research in this area, it's very exciting!
