Academic Year Celebration
Proud Graduates Made in Bochum – Every year in early summer, we bid farewell to the graduates of our faculty with a big ceremony. We are delighted to celebrate this day with you, your families and friends and to pay tribute to your achievements.
Save the date
The 2026 academic ceremony will take place on June 19.
All graduates who graduated between 01.04.2025 and 31.03.2026 are invited.
The invitations will be sent out in May 2026.
Program
4.00 p.m.: Entrance with refreshments via the mensa foyer (“A_Kaffee”, formerly Kaffeebar)
4.00 p.m.-4.30 p.m.: Mandatory registration for graduates
from 4.30 p.m.: Ceremony with honors in the Audimax
from 6.30 p.m.: Get together with music, food and drinks in the mensa foyer
9 p.m.: End of event
The evening will be accompanied by music from Sanya Music and the Ivan Habernal Jazz Trio!
Directions and parking
The ceremony will take place in the Audimax on the RUB campus. Here you will find everything you need to know about how to get there as well as a campus map and a campus map for wheelchair users.
If you come by car, you can park in P 4-8 directly under the Audimax, or in P 12 and 13 (approx. 10 minutes walk to the Audimax) at the west end of the campus.
