Welcome to the Grand Celebration—the highlight of our academic year!
Graduation ceremony meets summer party: The Grand Celebration is the event of the year where our faculty comes together to celebrate successful graduations, honor special achievements, and enjoy the summer together.
At the grand ceremony in the Audimax, we bid a solemn farewell to our graduates and at the same time honor all those faculty members who have supported and accompanied them on their journey.
Afterwards, the celebration continues: With live music, snacks from the barbecue and cool drinks at A_KAFFEE, we invite you to enjoy the evening together in a relaxed summer atmosphere.
We are very much looking forward to celebrating this day with you!
Save the date
The Grand Celebration with Graduation Ceremony takes place on June 19.
All graduates who graduated between 01.04.2025 and 31.03.2026 are invited.
Program
4.00 p.m.: Entrance with refreshments via the mensa foyer (“A_Kaffee”, formerly Kaffeebar)
4.00 p.m.-4.30 p.m.: Mandatory registration for graduates
from 4.30 p.m.: Ceremony with honors in the Audimax
from 6.30 p.m.: Get together with music, food and drinks in the mensa foyer
9 p.m.: End of event
The evening will be accompanied by music from Sanya Music and the Ivan Habernal Jazz Trio!
Directions and parking
The ceremony will take place in the Audimax on the RUB campus. Here you will find everything you need to know about how to get there as well as a campus map and a campus map for wheelchair users.
If you come by car, you can park in P 4-8 directly under the Audimax, or in P 12 and 13 (approx. 10 minutes walk to the Audimax) at the west end of the campus.
