Equal opportunities for men and women are firmly anchored as a cross-sectional task in RUB’s university development plan. This task is implemented not only by the central Equal Opportunities Office of RUB, but also by the decentralized equal opportunities representatives of the individual faculties.
Especially in computer science as a future-oriented and -shaping science, the representation and participation of diverse groups is essential. We want to network, make visible and strengthen underrepresented groups.
The decentralized Equal Opportunity Representative of the Faculty of Computer Science will be elected by the Faculty Council in the course of the winter semester 2021/22 and will act as a contact person for scientific staff, employees technology and administration as well as students for ideas, suggestions or problems related to equal opportunities.
